Hi, I’m Amy, founder of Oasis Accounting—a place where small businesses and entrepreneurs can find not just expert accounting services, but also a trusted advisor to help them grow and thrive. I’ve been working in corporate accounting in Madison since 2002, and as a CPA, I understand the numbers inside and out. But my passion goes beyond spreadsheets (even though I love them—I basically run my life from one!). I thrive on helping business owners make sense of their finances, streamline their operations, and create a solid foundation for long-term success.
The name Oasis Accounting isn’t just a nod to my love for the beach—it's a reflection of what I want to offer my clients: a financial oasis where you can feel confident, supported, and empowered to focus on what you do best. Whether you're a hair stylist, photographer, musician, therapist, or service-based entrepreneur, I understand the unique challenges you face and want to help you navigate them. My goal isn’t just to handle your taxes—it's to build a long-term relationship where we collaborate on strategies that help you grow.
A little about me: I grew up in North Dakota but found my home in Wisconsin in 2001, eventually settling in Stoughton, a charming Norwegian town that reminds me of where I came from. When I’m not working with numbers, you’ll probably find me listening to Jimmy Buffett, reading, traveling, cooking, going to concerts, or dreaming about retiring in Cozumel. I’m a sociable introvert (which no one believes is true!), an early bird AND a night owl, fluent in sarcasm, a boymom, I love odd numbers, and I'm passionate about helping people succeed.
